When making stained glass pieces there is a side effect of scrap glass; pieces that are large enough to reuse, but usually too small or not enough to plan a whole piece out of. We save our scraps as much as we can, but it starts to build up and if you don’t have enough of a particular color, it can be hard to use. <\/p>\n
Enter me and my ideas. One day, I saw I had all of these mirror scraps and those are harder to reuse, so I put them out and looked at them and began dumping other scrap to fill in. Thus, we ended up with this abstract shatter that felt close to my soul, with varying blues, greens, and purple glass. I love it and I know there are the right people out there that feel the energy of this panel as well.<\/p>\n
It is a many piece item soldered with 60\/40 tin\/lead solder, wrapped in zinc channeling, patinated black, and polished to perfection. It hangs from a chain on wire hooks soldered to the top\/back. We recommend that you hang this on something sturdy like a latch or nail, it can be hung either on a wall or window, if you prefer.<\/p>\n
