Poppies are a beautiful bloom that comes in colors of red, orange, and yellow. These bright and vivid colors attract pollinators and help the world ecologically. They can be seen in meadows, hillsides and gardens alike. <\/p>\n
The poppy is the enduring symbol of remembrance of the First World War. It is strongly linked with Armistice Day (11 November), but the poppy’s origin as a popular symbol of remembrance lies in the landscapes of the First World War. Poppies were a common sight, especially on the Western Front.<\/p>\n
It is a fourteen-piece item, soldered together with 60\/40 tin\/lead solder, and polished to perfection. It hangs from filament threaded through wire hooks soldered to the back.<\/p>\n
We offer all three colors of poppy, but we also offer each as either translucent or semi-opaque. Each version offers different qualities, the translucent lets more light through for a wonderfully colorful light show, and the semi-opaque allows for more depth and variation of color in the piece.<\/p>\n
