Associated with nature and the beauty of the forest, mushrooms are considered a symbol of good luck. In spiritualism, it is a symbol of enlightenment with the stalk representing the spine and the little cap at the top of the stalk, the opened crown chakra. The symbolism is quite good as it shows the fountain-like effect of the energy when it does happen. Some are edible, some are hallucinogenic, and some are dangerous\/poisonous\/deadly. <\/p>\n
