The dragon is a prevalent myth that spans many regions and cultures. The type or style of dragon depends on where you are and who you ask, our guy is based more on western mythology. <\/p>\n
In the west dragons tended symbolize evil; a foe or an obstacle to overcome, and in the east it was more a symbol of supernatural power, wisdom, strength, or hidden knowledge. Dragons have also been known to be hoarders. We like to think of our dragon as a twist on the old tales, this one doesn’t steal your objects or destroy your homes and villages. Our dragon is a protector, to guard and defend all of your precious objects, whatever or whoever they may be.<\/p>\n
The pictured dragon is just an example we have made previously. He is made mostly of green glue-chip glass, but actual glass may vary and you have your choice of main body color. Please let us know any specifics you hope for and we will try to comply.<\/p>\n
It is an twenty-piece stained glass suncatcher with a mini jewel eye, foiled in copper foil, and soldered together with 60\/40 Tin-Lead solder, made with care and polished to perfection. It hangs from wire soldered to the back of the piece.<\/p>\n
We suggest hanging this from a nail or latch, but you can add one of our LARGE suction hooks for easy hanging in any window. <\/p>\n
