Whether you believe this creature is mythical or just extremely rare, this piece was made to awaken the imagination and delight both adults and children (there is no age limit in believing). The Gnome is often an overlooked mythical creature, and I’m not just talking about their height. Still, gnomes have a long history and have popped up in many varieties. First introduced by Paracelsus in the 16th century they have since been seen in many types of media, from books\/stories like David the Gnome or in Grimm’s Fairy Tales, to tv and movies, Dungeons and Dragons, and of course Gardens all over.<\/p>\n
Our gnome wears a textured blue shirt and a translucent red hat, but if you would like your gnome to look different, just tell us. <\/p>\n
It is a twelve-piece stained glass suncatcher, foiled in copper foil, and soldered together with 60\/40 Tin-Lead solder, made with care and polished to perfection. It hangs from wire soldered to the back of the piece. The face is painted on.<\/p>\n
