Although not specific to Chanukkah\/Hanukkah (and all the other spellings), this pattern was originally from a Chanukkah (as it was spelled on the page) coloring page and we turned it into our very own glass hanging. I grew up in a family that celebrates both the Christian and Jewish Holidays. My Russian\/American Maternal Grandmother was brought up jewish with the rest of her family, but converted to Christianity when she married my Italian Immigrant Grandfather. Her family had always been open to exploring other ways of life and she accepted both faiths into her life.<\/p>\n
At the end of the year, when the holidays are here, we must always remember and respect all faiths and non-religious peoples. I am proud of both my nurtured faiths as well as the ones I have explored beyond.<\/p>\n
This delightful suncatcher gives a wonderful light show with color that varies depending on how the light hits it.<\/p>\n
It is a six-piece item soldered together with 60\/40 tin\/lead solder and polished to perfection. It hangs from chain attached to wire hooks soldered to the top and can be hung either way.<\/p>\n
